A celebration of 75 years of style and pop culture in an iconic Parisian venue

In 2025, Snoopy, the famous beagle created by Charles M. Schulz, celebrates his 75th birthday. To mark this anniversary, Paris is hosting an exceptional exhibition entitled « SNOOPY IN STYLE », highlighting the close ties between this iconic character and the world of fashion. This free exhibition is held at the Hôtel du Grand Veneur, an emblematic Parisian venue in the 3rd arrondissement.

Snoopy: A Pop Culture and Fashion Icon

Since his first appearance in 1950, Snoopy has become much more than a simple comic strip character. His relaxed demeanor and nonchalant attitude have captivated entire generations, making him a true pop culture icon. Over the decades, his influence has transcended the pages of comics to infiltrate various fields, notably fashion.

Historic collaborations with renowned creators

The « SNOOPY IN STYLE » exhibition features a unique collection of Snoopy and Belle dolls, dressed by legendary fashion designers such as Giorgio Armani, Karl Lagerfeld, and Issey Miyake. These collaborations, initiated in the late 1980s by Connie Boucher, have merged Snoopy's playful universe with haute couture, giving the character a new dimension.

Exclusive creations for the 2025 edition

For this 2025 Parisian edition, the exhibition presents never-before-seen creations by eighteen contemporary designers. Among them are names such as Marine Serre, 3.Paradis, Lacoste, Highsnobiety, Jeanne Friot, Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Fursac by Gauthier Borsarello, Paul Smith, KidSuper, Mira Mikati, ERL, and Valentino. Each of these creators has reinterpreted Snoopy's aesthetic through outfits reflecting their unique artistic vision.

An exclusive souvenir shop

In collaboration with Jeannie Schulz, widow of the Snoopy creator, an exclusive souvenir shop has been designed for the exhibition. Visitors can discover unique items such as a Bamford watch, a reissued k-way by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, King Snoopy Leblon Delienne figurines, Izipizi glasses, cushions, a Yellowpop neon sign, and even a crystal Snoopy made in partnership with Baccarat, wearing a Béton Ciré miki hat.

Snoopy and fashion: an enduring relationship

The fashion designers' infatuation with Snoopy is nothing new. For decades, this character has inspired numerous collections and collaborations. For example, in 2020, the Levi’s brand launched an exclusive capsule collection featuring Snoopy in various sporting activities, incorporating t-shirts, sweatshirts, and accessories adorned with motifs of the beagle in full action.

Similarly, in 2023, the artist André Saraiva, known for his character « Mr. A », collaborated with Snoopy for a collection presented at the Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées. This initiative was part of the Peanuts Global Artist Collective, aimed at merging Snoopy's universe with contemporary art.

Snoopy at Le Bon Marché: A Stroll on the Rive Gauche

In 2025, alongside the « SNOOPY IN STYLE » exhibition, Snoopy is also inviting himself to Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche as part of the « Je t’aime comme un chien » exhibition. This collaboration features a series of previously unseen drawings starring the beagle in the heart of the Parisian department store. Visitors can discover a ready-to-wear collection, accessories, stationery, and even pet items, all inspired by Snoopy's universe.
